The purpose of this website is to convey group updates and information to the members of the 2014 Scuba Cruise aboard the Ocean Princess departing from Papeete, Tahiti on February 19, 2014. Our group consists of divers and non-divers who have booked this group cruise through SuzyCruisy.com; you can obtain information about our group booking at the agent's group cruise website. Please note that only divers booked into the cruise group will be able to dive with the group in our ports of call. This private dive group charter is limited to 12 to 14 divers only. The five port, 10 tank optional boat dive package is not included in the price of the cruise.
Non-divers are welcome on the cruise; most hook up while the dive group is off the ship. We always offer a few tours and make sure that everyone on the cruise is having a good time. Our non-divers go on tours, attend shipboard activities, or spend time on shore together at the beach or go shopping while the divers are away.
All divers must be at least Advance Open Water certified to dive with the Scuba Cruise Group. Since some of our requested dive sites are expected to exceed a depth of 60 feet, group members signed up to dive with us should have decent buoyancy control and air consumption.
Many in the dive group are returning Scuba Cruise Alums; those new to the group will find their fellow divers to be low maintenance, have good air consumption, with an interest in underwater photography.
